Pauline Elizabeth Rose Webb died Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Savannah Square Retirement Community under the care of Hospice Savannah after a long illness.
She was born in Richmond Nicholas County , West Virginia, on August 6, 1917 to Pearl and Daisy Rose. Affectionately known as “Polly” to all who knew her, she moved to the Landings as one of the earlier residents with her late husband, Claude Cutlip. She later married Fred Webb and after his death continued to reside on Skidaway Island until moving to Savannah Square. Polly was a member of the Skidaway Island United Methodist Church where she had served on the Administrative Board. She was instrumental in the formation of the Memorial Garden at the church, serving as chair of the Memorial Garden Committee.
Surviving are two nieces, Marsha Rose of Endwell, NY., Cindy Reimer of Bradford, PA., three nephews, Colt Rose of Endwell, NY., Terry Arnall of Marietta, Ohio and Alpha Rose of Mineral, WVA.
Memorial Services will be Monday, May 15, 2006 at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary of Skidaway Island United Methodist Church.
